Laborum Torrontes Oak Fermented 2015

Varietal Composition:
100% Torrontes wine made from grapes cultivated in Valle Calchaqui, Cafayate/Salta. The vineyard is approximately 60-70 years old and planted atat 1650 masl.

Suggested Food Pairings:
Ideal with white meats, crispy duck and grilled fish.

Fermentation-Aging:
Pre-fermentative carbonic maceration in a press for 4 hours. Primary fermentation in new oak French barrels with selected yeast for 25 days with a controlled temperature between 55oF and 59oF. Spontaneous malolactic fermentation in barrel.

Color:
Pale gold with bright flinty reflections..

Aroma:
Elegant and stylish. Pineapple, lychee, quince, rose petals, and a hint of honey and vanilla.

Flavor:
Silky and very round, with balanced acidity underlining the complexity..

Suggested Serving temperature:
Between 11ºC and 13ºC
