Agostino Familia Series
Agostino Familia (“Agostino Family” in Spanish) is a blend of four selected grape varieties: Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Syrah. It represents the tight connection between the four Agostino brothers which strengthened their efforts and made their dream of having their own winery in Mendoza come true. Likewise, the harmony between the four grapes that compose this blend result into a wine of noble character and strong expressiveness.

This unique blend of Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc is a limited edition creation of only 3277 bottles. The combination of two non-traditional and distinctive white varieties plus the aging in French and American oak barrels make this a balanced and complex wine.
Varietal Composition:
Semillon grapes come from our own 80 years old vineyards in La Consulta, Uco Valley and Sauvignon Blanc grapes come from our own vineyards in Barrancas, Maipú.
Vinification-Aging:
Manual harvest. Semillón was fermented and aged in 225 liter oak barrels, while the Sauvignon Blanc was fermented on stainless steel tanks with a controlled temperature (between 15ºC-18ºC) and kept in the tanks until blending. 80% of the Semillon was aged in French oak (70%) and American oak (30%) for 12 months. Cellaring potential 10 years.
Tasting Notes:
It shows an intense yellow color with lively golden hues. On the nose, a unique expression of ripe tropical fruits, honey and wax notes combine with typical oaky aromas, such as toasted bread, vanilla and smoky notes. This white blend delivers an elegant, creamy palate with lots of fresh balancing acidity. It is intense, full-bodied and lush with a delicious finish.
Suggested Food Pairings:
Chicken in the oven, pork stew with quince, grouper bbq.
