Weinert Montfleury Gran Rosé is the example of Bodega y Weinert showing that with Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon not only great red wines can be made but also great Rosés.


Montfleury Gran Rose

Varietal Composition:
Blend 48,5% Malbéc, 48,5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Cabernet Franc, 1% Gamay. The vineyards who may give grapes to be used for this exceptional wine are situated in Lujan de Cuyo and Maipú, Mendoza. Weinert Montfleury Gran Rosé is the first sample in this segment in Argentina and with the first production in 1977.

Suggested Food Pairings:
Perfect for snacks and tapas served at low temperatures. Also for pasta, lobster, turkey, salmon, seafood in general and Asian food with curry or sushi.

Montfleury Gran Rose is made with red grapes, vinified as white. So, a minimum of 4 month on fine yeast in concrete vat are the base of a harmonious evolution before it will be bottled.

Bright, clean yellow-green color with some golden hues.

Intense and complex aroma, presence of very fresh red fruit and hints of toasted nuts.

Intense taste in mouth, friendly and sweet entry that slowly evolves into a soft warmth with elegant and firm finish. Bodegas y Cavas de Weinert is the only Argentinean winery to use the Gamay grape for these wines, allowing you to grant that particular softness.

Suggested Serving Temperature:
Between 9ºC and 10ºC.
